The New Orleans Jazz& Heritage Festival, also known as JazzFest, is an annual event that takes place in the city of New Orleans. Tickets

Tickets for the JazzFest are available for purchase on the JazzFest site a few months before the event, or at the gates of any day of the festival. Wristbands valid for admission to an entire weekend of the festival are not part of the Thursday sale.

It's only for specific day and weekend tickets. On Thursday, ticket buyers can also pick up pre-booked tickets at Will Call and try to resolve any issues with ticket orders. Some ticket buyers have reported problems with shipping their JazzFest wristbands. Thursday's event gives them the opportunity to possibly resolve those issues before the festival's opening day. The Community Outreach Ticket program was created to provide free tickets to the JazzFest through non-profit organizations.

Tickets go to those who otherwise would not be able to attend the festival due to financial problems or other difficulties. The Foundation supports community participation in the New Orleans Jazz& Heritage Festival by distributing thousands of free tickets to the world-famous festival of local music and culture.Big Chief VIP ExperienceThe Big Chief VIP Experience is the most luxurious way to enjoy the New Orleans Jazz& Heritage Festival. It includes access to exclusive areas with private bars, restrooms, seating areas and more. Only JazzFest Express vehicles will use a special ticket to avoid traffic and bring Festival attendees to the Festival's gates.

JazzFest Express tickets and tickets are available for sale on the days of the Festival from these locations or in advance.

Krewe of JazzFest

A ticket to the Krewe of JazzFest is required for all children over the age of 2 to access the Krewe of JazzFest observation area. All attendees agree to follow festival policies (including health and safety policies) and to post instructions during their stay at the festival.
